My five year old daughter, Gabby and I are faithful fans of ‘Alejandro, the Mexican Music Man’ and have been enjoying his entertainment at the Prahran Market since she was a babe-in-arms. A lot of her love of music is thanks to 'Ale-handro', as she now affectionately calls him. She gets up and sings with him every time we go to the market and she adores him! He's a great musician, and wonderful with the kids, weaving his spellbinding charm on children and parents alike. I'd thoroughly recommend him as a great entertainer for any kids events.
We have been delighted to engage Alejandro in several Boite projects. We have watched him perform with great skill as a guitarist, singer and storyteller. His music engages audiences of all ages in venues large or small. He is reliable, committed and easy to work with and his performances are absolutely captivating.

For energy, enthusiasm and expertise, it is hard to imagine a guitar teacher that could rival Alejandro. Beyond his obvious technical ability, and an ever-astonishing ‘ear for music’, Alejandro brings tremendous joy to learning the guitar, which is surely the best way to approach any education – regardless of the field of study. The spark he creates within his students – both young and, like me, young at heart – is inspiring both to witness and experience. For anyone who wants to learn the guitar – but more importantly for those who want to experience the true joy of playing music – I must give my highest possible recommendation of Alejandro as your teacher.
I like having piano lessons with Mary-Ann because I always get to learn new songs and learn about notes, rests and ties. I think Mary-Ann is a good teacher because she helps me when I am having trouble and she plays songs with me and that is really fun.
Arbol Azul provided students and staff with a high-powered assembly that was both educational and entertaining. I was particularly impressed by the way they were able to engage such a wide age group (K-8) for the entire length of the assembly. Their exotic instruments, music and storytelling are perfect for any school setting. This is truly one of the best assemblies I’ve witnessed in 20 years of education.
It was a most unusual festive experience and I can honestly say I have never seen an assembly that so motivated our students and staff. I urge you to bring Arbol Azul to your school, even if it is the only performance you engage all year. You will not forget this exhilarating, educational experience.
